Over a period of 600 years, this house was created to impress visitors. From the early 1600s, the Sackville family began filling Knole with art, furniture and textiles creating spectacular showrooms.
If you climb the 77 steps of the steep spiral staircase to the top of the tower, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Knole Park.
