The membership year runs from 1 December to 30 November. Please complete the information requested and click on the link at the bottom to submit your application. 

You can join The Arts Society South Downs as a single member for £55. Those joining from March pay £45, April £40, May £35, and June onwards £30. Joint membership costs £110, with a corresponding reduction for joining part way through the year.

Gift Aid notes

Your Society is a member of The Arts Society, which is a registered charity (charity no. England and Wales 1089743). The Arts Society is able to claim Gift Aid on the affiliation fee component of your total annual subscription to us, which in 2025/2026 is £16.20. By ticking the Gift Aid Box within the New Application Form you understand you are making the following declaration:

"I/we want to Gift Aid all donations I/we make from the date of this declaration until I/we notify you otherwise.  I am/we are a UK taxpayer(s) and understand that if I/we pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my/our responsibility to pay any difference."

This will ensure that you receive the latest news and information about all upcoming events. Members’ details will only be shared with “The Arts Society” to enable inclusion in the mailing of the quarterly magazine and other communications including information about any upcoming national events or items of legitimate interest. Your details will be kept safely and securely and you may opt out of any of our communications at any time.

The Arts Society South Downs cannot be held responsible for any personal accident, damage or theft of a member’s personal property. Members are covered against proven liability to third parties.
